Welcome.
I am fortunate to live and write in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. Through Eden - Finding Paths is my first novel, and is entirely fictional.
I wrote the book to give readers, particularly young adults, a chance to experience a tale of friendship and romance between young men in a world of prejudice and discrimination. Such a story as Evan’s was not available to me when I was his age. My hope is that Through Eden - Finding Paths will provide young people with the kind of enjoyable, life-affirming experience that I wish had been mine.
I did not have a sequel in mind, and was surprised to find that readers wanted more of Evan’s story. I was also urged by my young characters, Evan, Jake, Sophia and their friends, to tell more of their story.
I hope soon to share with you Book 2, Through Eden - Of Good and Evil, coming in 2021.
